A few useful answers
Which formats preserve transparency?
PNG and WebP can preserve transparent areas. JPG cannot, so this tool fills transparent areas with your chosen background color.
Will converting to PNG improve quality?
No. PNG avoids additional lossy compression but cannot restore detail already lost from a JPG or WebP.
Can I convert animated images?
Animated PNG and WebP are not supported. They are rejected so that animation is never silently discarded.
